Kit contents :

• A beautiful slim design Remote Control (KR22), which you can use to control 4 different addresses, including a dim function. Because of the slim design the KR22 is easy to take with you, for instance on your key chain.
• A Transceiver Module (TM13). This is the basis for the Marmitek X10 System. The Transceiver Module converts the signals from wireless Marmitek Controllers to the Marmitek X10 protocol on the existing house wiring.
• A Screw-in Lamp Module (LM15ES). You can screw this Lamp Module directly into the lamp socket. Can also be used with low-energy lamps. It is not possible to dim with this Lamp Module.

How it works?

The Transceiver catches the signal from the included Remote control(from any room in the house!) and is capable of switching the lamp that is connected to the X10 socket rocket lamp module.
You can easily expand the system with extra X10 receivers. A wide variety of modules , for plug-in, built-in and DIN-Rail mounting are available. The fact that the Socket Rocket remembers the code even after the power is removed means that you can set up the code in any convenient indoor lamp and then move the module to its final location, which might be in an outside light fixture for example. This means you don't have to install it outside and then run in and out of the house while setting it up. The Socket Rocket does not have any dimming functions.

Its code is set up from any X10 controller and it then remembers this code, even if the power fails. You simply screw it into any light fixture, screw in a bulb, turn the power on, and then send it a code from any X10 Controller within 30 seconds . You send the same code three times. When the Socket Rocket receives the same code for the third time it turns on to let you know that it has "learned" the code.
It then remembers this code indefinitely, even if the power fails. To "teach" the Socket Rocket a new code, you just remove the power, reapply it, and then send it the new code three times. The next Socket Rocket you install will not override the last one due to the 30 second time-to-program feature.
