Some appliances can cause noise. This electrostatic noise can disturb Marmitek X-10 commands going over the power line. Placing the XanuraHome AFX2 Appliance filter between the noise source (i.e. a washing machine) and the power line will filter the noise coming from this device and keeps the power line clean.

The appliance filter can be used for example with a TV, computer and monitor, washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher, microwave, copier, laser printer, switched supplies, etc.
