If the alarm console is armed and an intruder opens a door or window where the DS90 is attached to, the battery operated door/window sensor sends a wireless signal to the alarm console SC9000 to activate the alarm.
The DS90 replaces the DS10 Door/window sensor. The DS90 Door/Window sensor has a magnetic switch unit that triggers the Console when a door or window where it is fixed to, is opened.
This enables all the main entrances to a building to be protected.
The sensor is battery powered and "connected" to the security system by radio which means that the installation of the units requires the minimum of effort but with the maximum effect. The sensor is monitored and failure of the sensor is reported by the Basic Console.
The DS90 Door/Window Sensor has a contact for an extra wired sensor*.
These sensors need to be of type NC (normally closed contacts).
There should not be any power on this contact (potential-free).
*Warning : When used with Marmitek Protector28 console, this function will NOT be available! Only for use with Marmitek SC9000, SafeGuard, TotalGuard and Protector28.
Not compatible with ProGuard800 alarm systems. |
