If the alarm console is armed and an intruder approaches your home, the battery operated motion detector sends a wireless signal to the alarm console to activate the alarm.
-
Sophisticated dual element Passive Infrared (PIR) technology combined with two-way sensitivity adjustment eliminates the chance on false alarms
The motion detector has a range of 6-10 m and an angle of 90°. Because of the special lens the sensor 'looks down'.
Always mount the MS90 at a height of about 180 cm from the floor and place it in such a way that the detector can cover the area you want to secure. The mounting bracket can be placed at an angle (90°) or directly against the wall.
The console checks the battery status of the MS90 sensor. If the batteries are too weak, the console will indicate a ‘PROBLEM’ and the zone number will flash.
Normally the unique code of the sensor will remain in the memory (if you replace the batteries within 30 seconds). You can check this by setting your system to ARMED AWAY. If the sensor has remembered its code, the alarm will go off when you walk past the sensor. If nothing happens, you need to reregister the motion detector (see manual chapter 4.2.3). Delete the zone (see 9.7) and reregister the sensor (see manual chapter 4.2.3).
