This dome housing is rain and dustproof to protect your Marmitek IP RoboCam 10/11 from adverse environment conditions. RoboDome10 has a variety of brackets to make it suitable for installation on different locations. The heater has two elements so that it can operate as a heater and defroster when the temperature drops below 10° C. Cable entry is from cable glands located conveniently on the top plate.

Question:
Can I also use the RoboDome10 for the IP Robocam21?

Answer:
The IP RoboCam 21 has IR LEDs so that it can see in the dark. If the camera is placed in the Robodome10 and the LEDs go on because it gets dark, these will be reflected in the glass. If you still want to use the external housing, you will have to cover the LEDs with tape. With the GPIO connection you have the option to switch on external (IR) lighting so that you can see in the dark.
